Position Title: Alcoa Branch Sales Manager
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Management/Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes
Number of Direct Reports: 10


Position Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the sales department within organization. Set sales quotas, manage sales representatives and sales support staff, and advises company about sales performance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage branch sales strategy to achieve branch sales goals in concert with the overall company strategy. 

Coach sales representatives in the development, implementation, and management of Individual Business Plans (IPB) to achieve individual sales goals. 

Utilizing Gallaher standard Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

     Manage sales results.

     Oversee and observe sales activity.

     Oversee individual and branch pipeline.

     Assign and manage sales leads.

     Review strategic opportunities.

     Report accurate and timely sales forecast to management.

     Generate sales reports.

     Track, collate and interpret sales figures.

Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports; providing feedback, support, and coaching.

Formulate sales policies and procedures that enhance customer experience and organizational continuity.

Develop and maintain cross-departmental relationships to achieve sales goals and deliver superior customer experiences.

Enhance vendor relationships through regular communication and training.

Develop promotional ideas and material.

Prepare for and attend exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.

Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis.

Enrich company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the company’s core values.

Update job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by engaging in educational opportunities; reading professional literature; networking; and participating in professional organizations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience requirements:

3 years of relevant industry experience. (Required)

3 year of relevant sales management experience. (Preferred)

Knowledge:

Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Must have proven business analytical skills. Must be able to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be highly customer focused with the ability to work under pressure and to work by yourself without constant supervision. Must be willing work a flexible schedule.

Educational requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)  Undergraduate degree or equivalent. (Preferred)
